Since 2014, Emmanuel Habineza has led BDO East Africa Rwanda Ltd as Managing Partner. With two decades in audit and financial management, Emmanuel is a certified accountant and founding ICPAR member.He leads BDO Rwanda’s services in audit, tax, and advisory. Previously, Emmanuel was a Partner at GPO Partners Rwanda Ltd, a Deloitte correspondent firm, and began his career at Deloitte in 2005, advancing to Partner by 2008. His extensive background includes roles in accounting and financial management on projects funded by major international institutions like the World Bank.
Emmanuel has guided numerous corporations on tax compliance, financial management, IFRS, and business restructuring, with expertise in mergers and acquisitions and operational management across various sectors. Dedicated to developing Rwanda's accountancy profession, he has served on ICPAR’s governing council and trained young professionals. Multilingual in English, French, Kinyarwanda, Swahili, and Lingala, Emmanuel brings a rich, multicultural perspective to his role, blending global insights with local expertise.
